Join Us to Mark the Second Anniversary of the Forget Me Not Garden
MISS and Sands Aberdeen are warmly inviting families, supporters and members of the community to join us as we mark the second anniversary of the Forget Me Not Garden with a special Community Open Afternoon.
Taking place on Friday 14 August from 1 pm–2.30 pm at Hazlehead Crematorium, the free event will offer an opportunity to come together, remember babies gone too soon and spend time in a place that has become incredibly meaningful to families across Aberdeen and the surrounding area.
A place to remember, reflect and connect
The Forget Me Not Garden provides a dedicated space where families affected by pregnancy and baby loss can visit, remember and reflect.
Our Second Anniversary Community Open Afternoon will be a relaxed and welcoming gathering, giving people an opportunity to experience the garden, connect with others and take part in remembrance and reflective activities.
Throughout the afternoon, there will be:
Readings
Pebble painting
Reflective activities
Opportunities to spend time in the garden and connect with others
We are also delighted to offer selection of refreshments available to purchase for a small donation.
Whether the Forget Me Not Garden already holds a special place in your heart or you have never visited before, you will be very welcome.
