Interested in fundraising for MISS?

Whether your efforts are big or small, every fundraiser makes a big impact. Fundraising efforts can be connected directly to our JustGiving page. All our services are free of charge and funded by donations. We couldn’t do what we do without our amazing fundraisers!

Here are some ideas to get you started:

  • Hold a charity bake sale featuring homemade treats to raise funds and bring people together for a good cause. We can provide template cake toppers and bunting for your event, as well as sponsorship forms and money tins.

  • Organise a sponsored walk, run, or hike to raise donations for a specific distance. Participating in events like the Kiltwalk, Run Balmoral, Edinburgh Half Marathon or Loch Ness Marathon are great ways to support charity while enjoying the outdoors and working towards personal goals. We have a “Top 10 Training Tips” Guide for runners available, which has been produced by "Coached by Claire" to support you with running if you are a newbie, have any injuries or to get faster!

  • Host an auction or raffle where individuals and local businesses can donate items or services to be bid on or raffled. This is an exciting and fun way to show support while giving others a chance to demonstrate their generosity.

  • Engage your friends and family by committing to a personal challenge, such as shaving your head or giving up a favourite habit for a certain period. Ask for donations in support of your goal.

  • Clear out unused items from your home by hosting a car boot sale or garage sale. Encourage friends and family to donate items to sell, with all proceeds going to our efforts in supporting individuals through early baby loss.

  • Get into the spirit of the season by organising fun holiday-themed fundraising events, such as wrapping gifts for others in exchange for donations or organising a community Easter egg hunt.
