MISS Launches Support Packs for Baby Loss Awareness Week

In a heartfelt initiative aimed at supporting families affected by baby loss, we are proud to announce the launch of our free support packs in honour of Baby Loss Awareness Week 2025. This annual event takes place from October 9 to October 15, and it serves as a platform to raise awareness about the impact of miscarriage, stillbirth, and neonatal death.

Our support packs are designed to provide comfort and solace to those navigating the difficult journey of grief. Each pack includes items such as a candle for memorial lighting, a mindfulness sheet to promote self-care and reflection, a Baby Loss Awareness Week (BLAW) pin to show solidarity, and a comforting pocket hug — a small token meant to provide emotional support.

“We understand that the loss of a baby is an incredibly painful experience, often accompanied by feelings of isolation and sorrow,” said Leona Scott, Media Coordinator for MISS. “Our goal with these support packs is to let grieving families know that they are not alone. We want to create a sense of community and provide tangible reminders that their love and loss matter.”

If you are interested in receiving a support pack, please complete the request form linked below. Additional resources and information about upcoming events for Baby Loss Awareness Week will be available across our website and social media pages in the coming weeks.
